Kramer, Dillof, Livingston & Moore (KDLM) Offices – New York City
| July 4, 2023RI Workplace completed a sophisticated space for the Kramer, Dillof, Livingston & Moore (KDLM) offices in New York City, New York.
Kramer, Dillof, Livingston & Moore (KDLM), a top New York Personal Injury Law Firm in Manhattan, reached out to RI to handle the design and delivery of their new corporate workplace on Broadway. As the most successful and respected trial attorneys in the country, KDLM realized they needed a workplace that accurately portrayed the success of their firm. They were also looking to increase the headcount of their space, which meant maximizing its use without making it feel cramped. They wanted to provide a workplace that would facilitate employee performance and ensure continued business growth. This meant it was time to transform their work environment into something exceptional. An outdated, run-of-the-mill office was not going to cut it anymore.
We kicked off the process by sitting down with the ‘Best Lawyers of America’ to listen to their challenges and goals. The ultimate goal was to create a workplace that addressed the needs of a dynamic mix of age groups and personality types while maintaining a strong focus on the firm’s hallmark of dedication to client satisfaction. Aligning our vision with theirs, we developed an upbeat design that portrays positive energy for employees coming to work every day and a warm welcoming atmosphere where clients can feel at home in the midst of stressful legal processes. We improved their document storage issue and provided better furniture solutions for storing important paperwork. We also designed an area where employees can enjoy break time and socialization with their coworkers, which they didn’t have in their old office. Our ability to customize each element of design and provide KDLM with end-to-end services ensures their workplace now caters to the specific needs of each person on their team.
The Managing Partners’ offices are designed around their personal tastes so they can enjoy a “home away from home.” Conference rooms are designed with soothing finishes and color tones to make clients feel at ease, and layout and storage areas were given close attention. By carefully considering every part of their office layout, we maximized the views they can now enjoy of Ground Zero and the Oculus. Natural light, of which they had very little in their old office, now seeps into their space, boosting energy and morale.
KDLM is already seeing the benefits of creating a workplace that’s worth the commute. Their staff are increasingly loyal, satisfied, and proud to work there.
