M Moser Associates Living Lab Offices – Shenzhen
| March 1, 2022M Moser Associates created a space to showcase their possibilities at the Living Lab office in Shenzhen, China.
Paving the way for the future of workplace design, this ‘Living Lab’ focuses on a holistic approach, integrating site selection, workplace strategy, change management, design and construction.
The double-height front of house brings in an abundance of natural light, with sweeping windows, giving way to the surrounding urban landscape and offering an inspiring environment to work in.
Forming an agile and flexible working environment, movable partitions and modular furniture make variations possible with ease and speed, supporting a range of activities. Height-adjustable workstations and ergonomic furniture tie in with the wide floor space and natural light allowing for work flexibility.
Meeting rooms are equipped with advanced voice-control systems and private booths feature adjustable ambient lighting and acoustic design to create a variety of natural settings for relaxing and regaining focus. Environmental graphic details are designed in harmony with the colours and materials of the space, using storytelling to connect meeting rooms, phone booths and collaboration areas.
Smart technologies like facial recognition systems along with sustainability and wellness concepts have been prioritised and the space has achieved WELL Health-Safety Rating (HSR).
A place for innovation and endless exploration, this inclusive, experience-focused work environment supports continued growth in the Greater Bay Area. The project’s success demonstrates the potential to connect design, workplace strategy, technology and environmental branding to enhance the workplace experience.
