MAKU Offices – Shanghai
| August 17, 2022RDP Creations used bold colors and a mix of light and dark to complete the MAKU offices in Shanghai, China.
Perhaps it is 2021 (the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China) that brings us together with MAKU team in this wonderful year to a journey of faith, dream and utopia
Browsing through the long history of art, the chapter of “Russia” is always full of vitality in the gap of time.
The pioneering use of light and shadow by western Impressionists and post-Impressionists influenced a number of young painters before the October Revolution, which is like a flash of light that broke down the traditional walls of creative thinking among artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, who would later be regarded as one of the pioneers of abstract art
We pick up this light, and move forward on the road of pursuing faith ……
With the victory of the October Revolution, Wasily’s creative talent gradually entered a new era, during which he pioneered a painting method that was different from the West and focused more on color, line and form
For RDP Team, these creative wings are the red of the three primary colors, which is fiery and hopeful, brings light out of darkness, dazzling and brilliant.
In kandinsky’s later years, the peaceful life in Paris made his artistic creation more free. He depicted more on lyrical and colorful nature, with more biological forms and modeling colors appear in his paintings.
Nature has always been the treasure and teacher of artistic creation. We take it from nature and express through objects and images.
In the past, there were ancestors as Inheritors, and now the MAKU team as builders and we as designers met in the continuation and inheritance of history. With the little red light of stars, it involves a dream chasing story lasting for hundreds of years, and end up with such a house of “letting the ideal shine into reality”.
It spread from the west to the East, and now sets out from the East, to connect the world, to connect the future.
From the tradition to the present, from the old to the new, it is the revolutionary force that breaks through the tradition that keeps the ideal alive.
