Prosegur Offices – Madrid
| June 30, 2022Cushman & Wakefield used themes of creation, collaboration and innovation when designing Prosegur‘s offices in Madrid, Spain.
The goal of PROSEGUR’s COLABORA project is to transform its philosophy regarding working methods through the company’s corporate spaces. Creation, collaboration and innovation in terms of functions are the new drivers that workplaces must foster to enable interaction between employees and improved working.
Elements such as the maximum use of natural lighting, the provision of multiple environments to perform different tasks, acoustic comfort, the greatest use of outdoor spaces and the search for alignment between personal spaces and work settings represent just some of the parameters guiding design.
The starting point was to develop a playbook setting out the principles of this concept when launching a project for any building belonging to Prosegur worldwide. Based on this, the company has deployed the model in its offices starting in Spain, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Germany.
Although Prosegur differentiates its corporate spaces into various types, all follow the same concept as an unifier: the Co_Studio, a creation and innovation centre implemented to date in Madrid and Bogotá; the Co_Lab, an innovation lab for products and services; Co_Work, a flexible office concept guided by the coworking philosophy; and Co_Xplore, where workers have access to shared offices.
This model enables workers to perform their roles in different spaces every day, coinciding with different colleagues from other departments, generating increased creativity, trust and know-how and therefore growing their commitment to the brand through experiences.
Employee feedback has been remarkable, additionally enabling the company to capture new, highly qualified professionals attracted by this novel way of working. Through the creation of modern spaces that help to generate loyalty and attract talent to the company, initiatives such as COLABORA have a positive impact on the well-being of employees, the very “raison d’être” of the project.
