Shangyoo Game Offices – Shenzhen
| July 20, 2021iDA Workplace successfully expanded the offices of Shangyoo Game with an advanced industrial style for their location in Shenzhen, China.
For 13 years, Shangyoo Game has been creating game products and services that place the user experience first, and this mission has not changed. Upholding the spirit of “Small and Delicate”.
One of the key features of the space is the oversized ping pong table. It can be split into two so that two games can be played at the same time, or it can be pushed together to serve as a dining table, meeting space, or event area. A simple design serves many functions.
The 86 friends displayed on the wall are set off by retro neon lights. The display tells the cultural story of Shangyoo and reserves a place for everyone. They are intertwined, unique and fulfilling.
The blue lines run throughout the working spaces and create a unified high-level industrial style, and refer to the brand image of the “Shang” Mystery Palace.
The veneer and cement wall inlay adds a touch of warmth.
Developers can brainstorm in the open leisure space, even playing board games, having birthday parties, and watching football games. With their emphasis on a workspace that caters to the employee experience, it’s impossible for Shangyoo not to create games that emphasize user experience.

On the wall of the game room, we used employee’s favorite TOP classic game ICON to create 2-D representation of Shangyoo’s most popular titles. The display creates a lively, fun atmosphere.
“Nap culture” has always been respected by Shangyoo, so where could we incorporate folding beds? The boxes under the potted plants not only serve as a partition, but also can be incorporated into a folding bed. Employees have the space they need to rest and stay productive, and then the bed folds away to maintain a tidy working area.
We incorporated soft lighting and ergonomic seating throughout the space. We added a plan for regular environmental testing and good atmospheric management in the space. Beginning with the user experience, we were able to create a space that promotes physical and mental health, and workplace productivity.
Young and energetic gamers have realized the review of the past and the prospect of the future here. There is unlimited potential in the future of Shangyoo’s games.
